A great second half performance by the physical Kenyans witnessed David Ouma’s coached side score three goals in the second half of the game after falling short in the opening half. Kenya now will face Tanzania in the final of 2016 CECAFA tournament who hammered hosts Uganda crested cranes 4-1.

Lower league side KCB stunned premier league side Western Stima after holding them to nil-nil draw in normal time, and beating them 4-3 on penalty shootouts early Saturday afternoon in the GOTV shield quarter finals. The ever resilient KCB side forced the game to go to penalty shootouts where their goalkeeper Juma Mpongo turned out the hero of the day.

Steven Odhiambo was the hero as he scored the last penalty to hand Kariobangi sharks a win in the shootouts after Danny Serenkuma missed his kick.

Manchester united suffered their third defeat in a week as late goals from Juan Zuniga and Troy Deeney gave Watford a deserved 3-1 win in the English premier league on Sunday.
