Kitui county senate aspirant Enoch Wambua has condemned those who quite wiper saying they are not loyal. He said losing nominations is not a reason to quit the party.
Wambua was speaking on Friday afternoon at his hometown kabati in kitui west Sub County. He was received home like a hero after wiper party awarding him a certificate to run for the kitui senatorial seat. Wambua pointed out that the party is better off without leaders who are selfish and think are indispensable. He said that wiper is still strong without their support.
“After every nomination, this kinds of fallout are expected. I want to assure the membership of wiper that there is no vacuum in the party whatsoever. For me those exists are inconsequential and to some extent, I would say some of them are good riddance.’’ He said as quoted by the star.
Wambua was speaking in reference to former wiper chair David Musila who lost to Governor Julius Malombe and Machakos senator Johnston Muthama who left the party after his preferred candidate Bernard Kiala lost to Wavinya Ndeti.
“it’s ridiculous for a leader to quit the party because the candidate they were pushing for did not win,’’ Wambua said.
Wambua, a former standard group editor said that deflectors do not have the party`s interest at heart.
