The Kenya Film Classification Board has announced that it will not relent in ensuring that there is clean and morally acceptable content for the public from all entertainment quarters. According to the association’s chair Ezekiel Mutua they have set in place 50 million shillings to ensure all stakeholders have adhered to the directive.
Ezekiel Mutua was speaking after meeting Machakos county governor Alfred Mutua, the KFCB director said that they have been into a good understanding and well stipulated MOU with the county to ensure that there is enough entertainment for all.
He said that cinema halls and theaters will be set up in all the 47 counties. The government spent 50 million shillings in the first budget. Ezekiel Mutua further lauded the Machakos county government for setting up facilities that can be used for production and talent building for the youth.
