The National Super Alliance (NASA) has said they will concead defeat if the elections are carried out free, fair and credibly. the team lead by its presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, after being cleared by the electoral body, remain confident that they will clinch the august presidency.
The eight presidential contenders in the August polls have until Monday to be cleared by the electoral body IEBC. The electoral body has so far cleared Raila Odinga of ODM, Ekuru Aukot of Thirdaways Alliance and Abduba Dida who presented their nomination papers to the electoral body yesterday ready to unseat the Jubilee administration. IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati warned political candidates against hate speech during their political rallies
Raila with his running mate Kalonzo musyoka on the other hand urged the electoral body to carry out transparent elections. The NASA camp accused the Jubilee administration of using public servants and resources in their campaigns
President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Wiliam Ruto are expected to present their nomination papers to the electoral body IEBC by Monday.
