Conveying his message to residents of Mlolongo along Mombasa Road, Mr Odinga stated that the former Vice President was fully behind the steps taken by the Opposition despite being out of the country.
“I bring you greetings from Kalonzo Musyoka. He has sent me to tell you that even though he is in Germany, he is still with you in spirit,” Raila related.
Mr Odinga went on to reiterate that he did not recognise the October 26 presidential election as valid dismissing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidency.
“Along with former Senator Johnstone Muthama, yesterday the NASA coalition made the Maanzoni Declaration.
“According to our declaration, the 40 days of a thief for Uhuru and Ruto are done. As I told you, there are many ways to kill a cat,” the former Prime Minister illustrated.
The Opposition Chief went on to encourage the crowd that NASA’s declaration of the Opposition’s legitimate presidency is achievable.
“Don’t question whether all these things are possible, they will come to pass,” the NASA leader declared.
At an earlier presser, co-principal Musalia Mudavadi had renounced President Kenyatta’s election announcing that Mr Odinga and Mr Kalonzo would ascend to power.
The coalition leaders have also instructed Members of Parliament not to vet cabinet appointees when President Kenyatta presents them to parliament.
